I've had this product now for a few days and I think I made a good buy. it feels solid and I even dared to recline it all the way back to test it's balance.. word of warning if you decide to lie down in it like I did you have to use the lock to stop it from rocking. once locked pull out your leg rest, recline steadily (don't do it too quickly otherwise it'll feel like your going to fall and could from a panic).. I fell asleep in it without realizing it.. for the price it's worth it.. as for weight I'm 175 pounds but I've had a friend who's 240 test it out and it held true.  Read Less
