The waterproof works very well before putting it in the water i didnt have my phone in it just to see if it would leak through and nothing leaked into the cover and then for the real test it was time to put my phone in the water and it didnt leak in so its waterproof

The charging port is pretty recessed so many after market charging cords wont fit thru the hole in the case
