Yes it leaves the camera slightly exposed but i avoided the ones that added extra thickness to protect the camera

The only drawback i see with the case is that it doesnt come flush or extend even a little beyond the camera for protection against laying it face up

Its not a big deal but it would be nice knowing i could lay my camera on a table without it getting scratched up
