I thought it came with a protective cover but it did not so i will need to order a protective cover

This case has two layers a rubber layer that will absorb impacts from drops as well as a plastic layer on the outside that is going to take the blunt of the impact and prevent scratches to your phone and there is a lip around the front to prevent the screen from making contact with a flat surface if laid down same goes for the back of the case the painted plastic looks like brushed going through it and make it unique rather than a dull painted color with not accent on it
