The small speakers are of course going to be heavy on treble so it will behoove you to use your mixers graphic eq if available to drop the high and highmid frequencies a bit

First you have to remember that with 5 inch speakers its going to sound rather tinny no matter what

The tradeoff is tone but if you know that the sound in the front of the house is good then the monitor sound doesnt matter as much
