I couldnt get the backlight to work as the instructions said

It isnt clear that you have to press fn and the backlight cmd button and keep the fn pressed while you repeat repush the backlight cmd to switch the backlight on increase the brightness and then switch it off

You also have to do the same fn copush to change the colour of the backlight
