Pros
The light is much whiter (3000k vs 2700k) than the incandescents they replaced. It is just as luminous as a 25 watt bulb. Illumination is similar to a 15 watt incandescent bulb, with a much smaller draw.
It's pricy, but i'm keeping the receipt to exercise the warranty if needed. The efficiency is amazing. With the increase in elec utilities leds make sense.
Cons
These cannot have been tested. It's not worth hassling the return shipment to get a small refund. They in no way match the 3000k light from my led recessed.

So far i am very happy with these bulbs
Excellent product in the wattage that i was looking for and the lifespan i need
Theyre too cheap for me to bother with the hassle of sending it back so i ordered another hopefully it is ok on arrival
I then order the some more to finish out the needed fixtures with the new lights
Competitiveness
Gave this a 4star because i cant predict what will happen ayear or two from now
Brighter than you might expect for a 3w power level a good replacement for a normal 40w bulb

The output is a little brighter and whiter than the philips but not so much that it cant be used as a night light

Incandescent bulbs got too hot and burnt out quickly

Cfl bulbs lasted longer but still didnt last as long as they should

I tried some very cheap led bulbs and 34 of those lasted only about 3 months before they stopped working

One thing though the description says that it is a soft white while it states that it is a warm white on the base of the bulb

They dont have heat fins and they stay cool
