Appears mechanical sturdy. Easy push button opening and manual retraction. Appears to be extremely durable.

Great for an afternoon stroll in a spring shower. Great for when you go shopping and it rains. Family of 3 & my dog hates to get wet in rain.

Don’t waste your money or time. Extremely disappointed. Very disappointed.

Umbrella also drips through water at the seems after longer exposures to rain. Only got 2 or 3 uses out of before some moderate wind damaged it.
