Pros & Cons
Pros
It is a good option where you can't do recessed lights. Really easy to install flush mount. Overall very pleased after a little hassle.
Cons
Unit is described as 50 watts and 5850 lumens. What arrives is 40 w and 3895 lumen.
Highlights
Quality
The g2 12x48 led panel is a quality product
Overall we are very happy with this light and would do it again
I would also make sure your ceiling is reasonably flat or you will be unhappy with the gaps between the light and the ceiling
I also used some heftier drywall anchors that i had onhand rather than the ones included with the fixture
Packaging/appearance
The packaging did not have a screw kit
This was covered by some packaging so i didnt notice until i was installing it
Competitiveness
I would guess the brightness is comparable to an oldschool fourbulb 48 t12 fixture
Theres a 3000k setting similar to oldschool incandescent a 5000k bright white closer to daylight and a 4000k middle setting which i chose

I figured that the 5800 lumens would match the similar rating of 2 narrow 4 foot fluorescent tubes about 5600 lumens
