Pros

Usb-c is up to 20 gbps and could power the device without an extra power supply. The usb connection has options. Usb 2. Tb usb 3. And a 19 vdc 3. Connector. Used for a week, 10tb plug and play, easy to use, for usb3.

It's silver, it's sleek looking. On the front in is the logo g in white, which doubles as a power and activity light. A power brick, similar to a laptop power brick.

Cons

I can't access my hd or tb.

The g-drive is useless as a laptop charger. When the computer connected to it draws too much power, the drive simply disconnects. Once it spins up again, it disconnects again.

It is ridiculously bright. It's so dysfunctional.

Reliability is this? The reliability is inconsistent. They are mechanical and things fail.

Yes they were more and maybe i dont need what i got for my extra money but i suppose peace of mind is a good thing too
