The magnet clasp is kind of overkill it seems like it would stay closed in my pocket without it and the tabs get in my way when i am holding the phone to my ear

But someone whose phone was floating around in a purse or backpack with a lot of other junk might like the clasp to keep their others things from slipping into the phone and rubbing the screen
