I think it comes off fast as long as the user does not try and and yank if off before removing the closed velcros

My only complaint is the inner hard splint contains a pouch with a soft pliable piece of material that in my case eventually worked its way out

Ive also tried something similar with the ace brand but those started stinking after a short time yes stinking a little sweat made them stink
