Pros

Came with a preinstalled gasket. Cooled camper down in a matter of minutes on a 92 degree day.

Cons

This review reflects a problem with being able to install a furrion chill air conditioner on an airstream. Unit constantly freezes up, on a hot day don't even bother.

This unit's shroud was also damaged in transit. Took 4 days to get here. Got the package and the casing to the unit was busted.

Quality

Bought the furrion ac unit for my rv works awesome install easy and it does work with dometic controls

The unit was easy to install and it’s worked great

We installed this unit after our 7 year old dometic stopped cooling

Using the dometic control board with analog thermostat it only has 2 fan speeds

Shipping

Unfortunately bad reviews are only due to shipping and not the actual product

If you can get over the shipment its 5 stars

I contacted the seller and they immediately sent out 2 new units via fedex and they showed up a couple days later

Packaging/appearance

The box is pretty heavy 80lbs so you’ll need to figure out a way to hoist it into the roof of the rv

Another review elsewhere cautioned that the shipping box was less than adequate

Competitiveness

If and when the rear dometic unit dies i will not buy this model and go with another dometic

The styling of this unit is very modern compared to the outdated and more expensive models

The overall construction seems better than the dometic ac units currently around
