The box had been previously opened and resealed. They still work fine with the remote and lighting but the top sides have crumbled away. I plan to try to replace the batteries to see if that improves functionality.

Small votive candles are the ones that are not controlled which seems like a waste because i purchased these for the remote control and timer aspect. The 4 larger candles were chipped and scratched up upon arrival.

There are scratches on the top of each pillar candle and globs of glue on the bottom where the battery compartment is. These are esthetically pretty but drain batteries so quickly! But they are super flimsy.
