 When we bought our house we were told that the laminate wood we selected would hold up the best to scratches, scrapes, spills, etc. and the builder actually suggested it over hardwood. That was a horrible suggestion and we have been struggling with ways to keep the laminate wood looking nice. We already had a large wood dining room table set before we purchased this house and did not want to get rid of it. The chairs were damaging the floors though so we had to do something. We decided to get some felt furniture pads and these have helped a lot. This is a great multi-size set for all of your furniture needs. The one problem I have with it is that even the smallest ones are pretty large. The set should really come with some even smaller round ones because many chair legs are quite small in diameter.The large square felt pads are perfect for larger furniture like couch legs or entertainment centers. Not only do they protect your floors, but they also make it a little easier to slide things around that would otherwise be nearly impossible to move. The middle sized round felt pads are being used on an entry way table we have that is also pretty large and heavy. We tend to move our furniture around a lot so these are helpful in doing that without causing any damage to our floors. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone who has wood, laminate, or even tile floors.
