Easy to assemble. Well packaged for shipping also. Clear instructions, every part was labeled. Shipping and packaging worked great.
Grandkids love this item! We love it, it sleeps 2 adults and a child great. Holds up to the use of my 4 and 9 yr old plus having extra family staying over this past summer.
Very pleasantly surprised by the quality and sturdiness of the bed. The bed is amazingly solid. This is a great bed and perfect for my 9 and 5 year old who have to share a room.
The bed is solid wood, except for the mattress slats, which are plywood. Not a scratch or dent.
Cons
Top bunk has a 150lb restriction which isn't mentioned in ad. It's creaky and we don't really trust it. Aweful smell. Any slight movement in the top bunk makes the bed sway, and that swaying is what loosened all of the screws.

Other buyers had issues with the shipping of this item exposedruined wood but we did not
We wanted 2 of them but had some major issues with shipping thats a long story but once we finally got this piece we were happy to have it

You should say in description that ladder can be put on opposite side easily because it can just have to drill two holes in bottom rail to secure ladder

I tried twice to get this bed from amazon and twice their carrier xpo failed to deliver

The only problem we had was with the bunk bed side supports piece 7 because the supports were not predrilled so we just left them off

I did not install the ladder because i placed the headboard and the footboard in the wrong place they are identical
