Pros
The handle and ergonomics are great. Product delivers as advertised. This item is awesome.
Furminator helps dogs shed their coats and gives them relief during hot weather. My dog sheds enough for 3 dogs. Lasted 4 years with chocolate lab. It greatly reduces the amount of fur on my floor and furniture.
My dog (virgil) is a red healer/ australian shepherd mix. And brushing with this furminator is amazing. And the dogs love being brushed with this brush.
Cons
This item is a counterfeit. It's a fake and it performs like one. This product appears to be made extremely cheaply.

Only downfall the plastic part meant to remove the hair off of the brush did absolutely zero
Gets the dead hair out of the coat nicely and keeps it off of the carpet and furniture
In order for the teeth of the furminator to get the undercoat i have to go over the dogs twice when they are poofing twice yearly
You do have to be careful when brushing your dog not to gouge down to hard so that the teeth in the furminator scrape the skin underneath
Competitiveness
We have a smaller furminator that worked perfectly for our french bulldog
We had the blue handled large furminator which was fabulous
Would 1000x recommend and can honestly say i will never buy another brush unless its another furminator
A friend told me to try the real namebrand furminator and i took a chance

Ive spent the same amount of time brushing him as i would have with just the basic generic brushs you can buy at walmart and in that amount of time ive gotten at least 3x the amount of hair out and its very noticeable where as with the cheap brush it doesnt look much different
