Most other mailboxes on the market either have plastic closures which break within a month or 12 closures which do not work if the mailbox is distorted in any way

Now it operates smoothly my mail lady has remarked on the improvement no less and i like it a lot myself because it holds more and larger items which saves me plenty of trips down to the post office to pick up oversized items which wouldnt fit in the old standardsize mailbox

Otherwise as i found out the hard way the paint doesnt stick very well and youll end up having to use about 4 coats of paint to make it look nice

The mailbox was packed with plastic air filled bags on the sides to prevent damage but not on the ends
