Pros & Cons
Pros
It’s a good idea to file or grind a flat spot on the forstner drill shank so it can be removed. I have a set of hf bits and this extension does mot except the metric shank.
Cons
The tool itself only works with a limited number of drill bits. If the shank isn't exactly the right diameter it will offset and rotate elliptically. The metal is poor quality.

For the price this is a decent product
Overall length with the chuck extension and forster bit was way to long for my rikon 1218 lathe
I have different lengths of this brand of forstner bit extensions and all are of the same quality
