I never investigated why until she completely shattered her digitizer again and realized the plastic dust boots needed to be replaced along with the screen

I did inspect the old cameramic assembly and found where i damaged it during the previous repair so i figured i would avoid damaging components by having them come installed

Also the instructions that were provided were complete and easy to follow but lacked detailed demonstrations on hazards to avoid

And the best part is that i only had to transfer the home button to the new screen reconnect in the right places and reinstall the screen to the body

This screen came with a full assembly so you do not have to disassemble the digitizer to install

The colors and contrast are correct with no pixelation the last time i cracked my phone i took it to a repair shop who replaced it with a lowquality screen whose white balance was completely inaccurate
