Quality

I am very happy with the low fan noise since it is in a home theater pc in the bedroom

Very high quality power supply for my 1u linux box

However it was not the fault of the product

Price

For 500w platinum in this form factor and especially the brand the price is really not that bad

The price is a bit high for a 500w power supply even a platinum rated one in terms of normal atx units

Psu was pretty good for my mini itx build with a 8700k 1080ti

Needed this unit to fit into a failed psu for a qnap nas device

It is fairly quiet with just the faint hum of the fan when running

Heavier than it looks but crucially it is a small psu which conforms to flexatx standards

Wasnt too difficult to put back together

Yes insulation drips makes it very difficult to get at the pinout

Insidethere are insulation drips everywhere and may be stuck on top of the case too feeling like it was glued accidently as well as screwed on

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It is incredibly dense with components and the inductor coils overhang the board near the fan another reason why a 40x20mm fan wont fit even if jammed in

Not really seems to be all legit caps look fine as if brandnew as it should be

Cons cover screws feel cheap and strip easily then again they shouldnt be taken off anyway unless replacing the fan
