Pros
Every shoe in my closet is an 8. Other reviewers think it is bigger but length is the same as 6. Compared to my only other frye boots (the melissa back zip in size 7.
The style is a slouch boot, but the leather stays true to form and doesn't really slouch yet. The leather is so buttery soft.
They slip on easier than expected (with medium thick sock) and hit roughly 2-2. Soft slouchy shaft stays up but is comfortable. The heel slips a little when i walk, but so far they have been extremely comfortable.
The frye veronica slouch is just a beautiful, quality boot - and a great price! The boots are a fantastic color. I like the boots their cool but they are awfully wide.
Calf area is slightly roomy but actually fits my average-sized calfs well. There is no zipper, and it's a little bigger in the calf on me (i have 13 calves), but i can tighten the top buckle.
Cons
The left boot is visibly smaller in the toe area than the right. The circumference of the calf is so large that they slouch down quite a bit. My foot is average to narrow, with a medium not wide, not an unusually high; calf is a medium circumference.

I had a hard time getting the boots on therefore i had to return them

They were a little tight when i tried them on but i think that was because they had just been delivered and the leather was cold
