The quality rating of this thing is like elementary school art project. The metal part that holds the light bulb in place inside the lantern is flimsy and doesn't sit flat. These are flimsy.

I was a little skeptical when i opened the package because the star is white and not a parchment paper color that i had envisioned

They do show the light as white in their pictures i just wasnt paying attention at the time

I also think it is strange that the cord is white but where you screw the light bulb in is black

But for your first time putting them together screw in the lightbulb first then make a cage around it with the clear plastic gadget by putting the arrow shaped corners in the slits thus creating a caging around the light bulbs
