Pros & Cons
Pros
Great product. Seems to work as intended. Given as a gift - so far no complaints.
Easy to put together and fit nicely in the gutter. Keeps the crud out of my water encatchment tank very well. Fit the drain well.
Cons
Leaves clump together and stick to the wedge causing the gutter to clog up. Plastic too thin. If you squeeze or jam it a little it falls apart.
Highlights
Packaging/appearance
This catches most of it and when it is pouring the debris goes over the top of it instead of down the drain
Very easy to install and so far the wedge has kept the rain flowing down the drainpipe

Big surprise was that throat diameter is only 2 inches which is considerably smaller than the diameter of the downspout drain

However water can flow both though screen and around the base and the few leaves that escape into the downspout around the outside edges simply flow through to the base

This product dropped right into my gutters but doesnt fit the gutter width too narrow

I had to use hardware fabric to supplement the wedge

Sure every so ofter it helps to clean it out but it is all right there

Yes the bottom part of them can clog so the last half inch or so of water in the gutter may not go down but the advantage to these strainers is that when there is a heavy rain the crud washes up and over the wedge and accumulates behind it

You do need to have space behind the downspout for that to work

Together with a gutter cover like the warehouse available inexpensive pvc 3 foot cliponlip segments that the frost king manufacturer also sells bought separately get the ones with round holes you can see through significantly larger openings than the wedge has as perforations
