Pros & Cons
Pros
The combination of black pepper and ginger really makes it quite spicy. It's delicious--not over cinnamon like so many--and i'm drinking it daily, so will have to order more soon. The spices are just right flavorful and a little bite.
Cons
The black tea itself is very weak, almost an afterthought. You have to use 3x the amount of this way over grounded stuff to make anything taste anywhere remotely like chai. Horrible stale taste, small grind leaves like in commercial teabags.
Highlights
Quality
If you like a good chai with the right amount of kick then this is for you
Plus the ctc black tea seems to be a bit higher quality than the loose ctc tea i have at home
Packaging/appearance
The packaging isnt resealable which is a bit of a bummer for something that is a 16oz bag

Mind you the tea is already included so you cant really use this chai mix as a quick starting place for cooking unless you want the tea flavor which you usually dont

I recommend a press and seal tea bag or extra fine mesh ball

I don’t know what is typical for chai teas but i did note that the tea seems to be chunks of leaves rather than whole leaf

Oz and its bag is not resealable so be sure you have a jar or a similar container
