Place the inner pack into a cup of cold water and wait about ten minutes take it out of cup and kind of flatten it out insert into outer case and insert your diabetic pen

It really does last up to 2 full days and to recharge the pack all you have to do is the same thing

Keeps insulting cool but it expands so much that it is extremely hard to get pen inside and once it is in it is very hard to get out

But after about 18 months regular use they begin to lose their ability to absorb water and after 2 years are pretty much useless

But this pack did awesome i just left everything in it for the first 2 days then while i took my shower the 3rd day i tossed it in the sink to rehydrated and it carried on working those 2 days until we got home

If you do that they swell so much it is tough to get the epipen out which could be a safety issue
