Pros & Cons

Pros

The clamp is solid and you don't need to be too delicate handling it. The heaviness makes it a little difficult to lift and clean. It's too early to tell how it will hold up with constant use and cleaning.

My only gripe during installation is the attachments to secure the cooktop to the station needed to be cut to fit. This includes being aware of the placement of the gas regulator valve.

Works perfectly. Dropped in easily and is working great.

The grates are heavy-duty and continuous across the top of the cooktop, making it easy to move pots and pans around with no snags. The center grate is $130, fyi.

Cons

The cooktop is only one month old and two of the knobs broke. The replacement cost for each knob is $95 dollars. It is only under warranty for one year from purchase.

Quality

The quality is comparable to more expensive alternatives

Overall my experience with the seller and the product is rated 5 stars

Now other than the rough grates my last issue is the quality of the stainless steel surface under the grates

That was my biggest concern receiving a damaged product

Price

I found this one with pretty good reviews and the price was good as well

I read a few reviews that werent positive but i really liked the look of the cooktop and the price was really affordable

Packaging/appearance

The packaging came in great when it was delivered and it was the exact measurements of this cooktop were perfect to slide right...  Read More

My biggest issue as other reviewers have commented was getting the old cooktop disconnected and out of the hole

Competitiveness

Had a 10yr old builder cooktop that we originally got with our house

The control knobs are all metal are attractive and have a highquality ‘feel’ to them

Installation involves only two connections gas and electricity and the electrical connection in most cases is just a standard 120v plug

You can get these at home depot lowe’s but for over twice the cost

The iron grates are quite beefy but again as others have commented i can see how they could break if knocked or dropped too hard

Also i wasnt pleased by the rough finish on the top side where the pot hits the grate
