Older kenmore side by side wasnt properly cooling any more the freezer coils were all frozen over blocking any air flow to the fridge side

I manually rotated the screw on the existing defrost timer until the defrost cycle started and there wasnt anything wrong with the defrost circuitry only the defrost timer
