Pros & Cons
Pros
Made the cut without shims, and then measured the cut. Plenty of shims to use when adjusting for today's odd plywood sizes. Comes in a good container that stores and protects the blades, chippers, spacers and shims.
Feel for a perfect match. It fit perfectly. No issues as of yet. Perfect item for the price.
Used for making 3/4 inch finger joints in pine boards for producing large and medium depth bee hive boxes. The inboard blade pressed onto the arbor with a bit of difficulty. If recommend these to any hobbyist wood worker.
Easy setup with the included chart. The chart is on the backside but making sense of it was not easy, at least for me.
Cons
An example of confusing shim/stack setup is 13/32 and 15/32 have the exact same configuration, with no further explanation. I had to remove the inside washer and replace it with the outside washer, the nut goes on the outside of the stack.
Highlights
Quality
Quality set at significantly lower cost than other options
Some sanding and shaping and i am happy
Other than the actual dimension i was very satisfied with the quality of the cut it made
Price
I’m guessing that lower cost is due to this model being discontinued
So to get these and a huge discount was like winning the lottery
Competitiveness
After my first use i notice two things1
