Made a 3/4 x 1' (deep) cut in red cedar boards. Record everything for quick setup the next time.
The name freud inspires confidence. It does the job. As advertised.
This is my first dado stack and i love it. It works fantastic and the carrier is great for storage. My only real concern about the set is that the instructions are printed on the back of the cardboard insert.
The 6 blades are more than adequate. Most dado blades are 8 for some reason. My tablesaw is an old rockwell delta and somewhat underpowered.
Well machined, reasonable instructions. Easy to use and has a handy guide explaining exactly how to set it up for each particular size dado. First class product.

Works well on my mikita 2704 quality of cut is excellent
The blade are quality and they are sharp no doubt about it
It does not show you how to stack each blade with the spacers provided please do some research before hand
I also suggest the freud set due to its quality
Competitiveness
The cuts overall are unequivocally cleaner and more accurate than the cheaper chinese made competitors i previously bought from amazon also

Most dados are less than an inch 8” dado stacks are too heavy for most table saws and overkill in this master carpenters 45 years experience opinion

This is a small dado set the saw was challenged but the cut was flat bottomed and sharp sides

The first set i received left ridges down the middle of the dado

But i returned them and the replacements match the claims of clean shoulders and flat bottoms

And most dado blades are 8 for some reason even thou a 6 is much easier on the saws motor

With my saw im unable to cut anything deeper than a 916 dado

Be sure to check the distance between your arbor and the surface of your table before you buy this product as this will affect the usefulness of the dado

This should work i have other freud blades and they are remarkable to say the least
