Pros & Cons
Pros
This tool makes it easy to get the measurments needed to do a proper setup. Easy to measure string, fret, and pickup height. The height markings are easier to read than almost all other measuring devices.
Leather pouch is of good quality and fits the gauge nicely. Comes in a surprisingly sharp leather case, which holds the gauge snug. Shows the great care taken to creat this product.
The attention to detail is unbeatable even for a protectionist like me. This gauge makes adjustment a breeze and is much easier for me to deal with than feeler gauges.
If you work on guitars for a living or just work on you own guitars, this tool needs to be in your toolbox. The 3-sided fret rocker feature is a nice bonus. This lives in my gig bag now.
The fretguru is a handy tool. A great addition to the work bench. Super handy tool, super value.

It arrived in two days and i used it on every guitar i had in my room
Packaging/appearance
I can foresee many other uses for this but the moment i unpacked it i solved a vexing fret problem on my telecaster
Tons of useful info packed into a small tool

The fretguru2 gave me much better results with less fiddling around
While i cannot compare the two as i only bought the one i am totally satisfied with the fretguru
Ive had the gauge for a couple weeks and used it chiefly as a fret rocker finding it more reliable than my cheap import
I am not sure how this compares to the lower priced options out there but with the other reviews i decided to go with this one ... Read More
