Highlights
Quality
Good quality great price fast delivery
I had relatively small frets with a low crown and this tool grabbed well onto the base of the fret and the frets came out with no issues
It has always unfortunate to find so many copies out there built in places that just dont have the quality we guitar players really want
If its something you are going to use on the regular go with the stewmac stuff
Packaging/appearance
Was able to finish the job quickly and cleanly
Competitiveness
Almost the same things as what they sell over at stewmac but a much better price
They work great and were half the price as other vendors
As stated these are only for fretwire pulling and removal not for fretwire cutting

They are not intended to get under the fret edges but to grab the sides of the old frets

Giving it 4 stars because the face is obviously ground down and unfinished

But at least its flat and does the job and the grind might actually help it pull frets better dunno

I was expecting larger from the medium size description and photo

Note be sure to use an antichip tool along with this a beveled prong that runs alongside the underneath of the fret to protect the wood and be sure to use a soldering iron to heat the fret first and melt whatever glue might be holding it

The jaws mate well are almost sharp and are ground to slide under the top edges of the fret to be pulled
