Pros & Cons

Pros

My small chihuahuas love love love the duck heart! I love that both of my dogs love these. My little toy chihuahua loves these, he cries for them.

My koby loves these as a midday treat. He gets very excited when the package comes out and jumps up on his stool for his 'treat' these are everyone's favorite treat. They are soft enough for him to chew without hurting.

Great protein source to keep your beloved pooch happy and healthy. My little yorkie turns her nose up to most foods. Anytime she hears a bag crackle now.

Only complaint is that the heart sizes are not uniform. Ther price is reasonable.

Cons

Freeze-dried poultry hearts are not something i would purchase again. Pound lobsters are $ 10 per pound. With boiling, bones are not safe and also defeats the purpose of teething.

Quality

Seems a good quality product and it was easy to shred it into small pieces in their food

As treats go i trust duck heart treats in terms of quality but in addition my dogs love it beyond anything else i’ve given them

Wash hands after handling as it is essentially raw meat

Taurine is very important for a cats development and these duck hearts are bursting with taurine and nutrients

Price

Until then i’m stuck paying these crazy prices for about 67oz of fresh raw liver

The price point was a reminder that one was all they could have

This stuff is just too expensive though

Packaging/appearance

I got this opened the package offered them to my dog and she scarfed them

He gets very excited when the package comes out and jumps up on his stool for his treat

Competitiveness

Ill have to take a picture of the yield and then compare the store bought amount next time i purchase to be sure

I’m sick of companies ripping cat owners off when they give the same portions for dogs or even human consumption for a fraction...  Read More
