The app is either an iphone or android app that you can download from the app stores or you can also run a windows or mac app. Once build the car has plenty of functionality. Next step is to add new components like a small usb light and speaker.

I am very pleased with the product itself and for the help that freenove offered me. In general i find them well designed, reasonably priced and a good value.

Support is very responsive but needs better english translation. Received the kit about a week ago. Fortunately, freenove has great support. They always respond to our email within 24 hours. Very impressive and very helpful.

Pi 3 runs for about 8 min. Requires another battery pack or plugged in connection. Motor,servo,sensors leds all dead and the robot no longer works. I wait 3 days and check the tracking number and it says invalid.

The screws are very tiny so i would not recommend for anyone who doesn't have tiny fingers. There is significant potential to rupture the batteries when removing them out. The infrared sensor in the front has very low clearance to the ground.
