All in all, a nice coffee press, minus these small issues. This vintage style french press is really beautiful! When i found this gorgeous silver french press i was in love.
Bought this to replace the old bodum model after replacing the glass flask one too many times. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I find the coffee is smoother and richer. This is dishwasher safe!
On occasion, our power goes out, the husband refuses to get a generator.
This one looks sooooooo nice sitting on the kitchen countertop! It looks exactly like the product image. It looks like a little spaceship, i find it cute!

Also the top seems overly largehigh without increasing the volume of coffee storage and that limits it from being stored in my small coffeeteaspice cabinet space

A word of caution which is in the directionsdo not use finely ground coffee or you will be chewing some grinds

Of course since it’s not electric there’s no way to keep your coffee hot like you can with most other coffee makers
