The insulation is a must-have if you’re fishing in super low temps. The only issue with this over the frabil orange ones is that the piece that holds the flag together to stand up keeps breaking and i have to put a temp fix to finish out my day.

They take up a tiny bit more room than the old school skinny ones, but they keep the whole from freezing over, which is huge. Little compartment is pretty handy too.

Unbelievable value. That alone makes it worth every penny. Great quality and a great cost.

The settings for this tip-up are both light and would be tripped by a shiner or other live bait alone. This appears to be last years model and not the current model that frabill sells on their website. These tip ups are garbage.
