Unfortunately while i could hook under the material with this to get a spot release getting any kind of full release was difficult to impossible

I suspect this is because the eave material is short whereas siding has long lengths that allow more flex and movement

What i will tell you is that it beats the hell out of using a screwdriver and cutting your hand when you are trying to remove the very tight pieces that hold the skirting along the bottom of a trailer

Seems to be durable metal so shouldnt bend or rust easily
