This replacement seems to be of a better quality, with a more forceful engagement. The only downside is this item shipped with flathead screws that were very short.
Cons
Poorly made. Started malfunction after 2 weeks of operations. Called and refund was processed. Mounting screw heads are shallow and strip easy.

Too bad i couldnt just get the springs but the door manufacturer for this sliding glassplastic door for lowes is very secretive and there is no way to contact them for the 10 cent spring to replace the ones they install in the doors

This lock does not break every 3 months like the primeline e 2014 mortise lock adjustable springloaded hook latch
