Thrown in bin, rubbish product. Total waste on money and inconvenience. On the information which i read it does not say that you can't put liquid in, it's a complete waste off money!
Return is a hassle as it is a battery which restricts courier service providers. Of all this type of battery i have purchased (many) either not working or failing within weeks. Ego batteries are very low quality items regardless of the vendor.

I purchased in july but a few weeks ago it did not turn on so i plugged it in to charge and the light started flashing different colours

I have ordered 3 this week and none of them are charging or turning on which is really annoying as these are the ones i have been using for years with no complaints
