It reliably heats an oil bath up to 120c. It heats very quickly, the temperature probe ensures i know the solutions temp instead of the hot plate temp. The hot plate automatically switches from the internal sensor to the pt1000 to regulate the sample'... Read More

Temperature control seems fairly accurate and it uses fuzzy logic to not over shoot the temp. The only con is that it reads temps in celcius only. That was easily solved by posting a print out of a celcius to farenheight chart.

Cons

Temperature rises way too high way too fast. They pretty much admit to the poor temperature control in the product description. I'm very disappointed, as it seems we have wasted $240.

The price is good and it will fulfil all your needs

For that alone the price is easily justifiable to me as i can rest worry free

The price is quite low for such a robust piece of equipment
