Did not inhibit algae growth in my fountain. Just turned the water blue. No idea how to dispose of it since there is a warning about contamination of waterways.

Usually i have to empty the basin then scour it to rid the algae then fill it up again only for two to three weeks pass and the algaes back

It is costly but it keeps the algae down in my fountain
It pours nicely no splashing and you dont use much so even though the overall price seems high you only use a very small amount
