Unlike some other reviewers ive not had any issues at all with the backdrop velcro failing make sure you put the side with three pieces of velcro up at the top as the side with two pieces is mean to go at the bottom

My only complaints are that there are velcro tabs on only two corners of the backdrops instead of all four and that the tabs pulled off the backdrops easily

This only con i found it that once the photo light tent is folded there is no place to store the backdrops

But there are a lot of times that you just need a quick product shot or you want to sell things on ebay or etsy and you just want to grab a quick but nicelylit shot

The lighting is overhead and it is of course very direct but it still has a pretty soft quality and the unit comes with a diffusion screen that actually does diffuse things though i ended up using some diffusion material i had on hand to soften it more

The color backgrounds were a little awkward and would loose from the velcro
