Not five stars because i had to press really hard into the ps1 remote port at my gh4 lumix but the difficulty may be with the camera too
I ordered one from amazon hooked it up to my gh4 and was able to startstop video from the remote

You cant take too quick of a picture over and over because the button has to be pressed and slid but it totally works

The only downfall is in bulb mode is you got to hold the button down for it to stay open with shutter

I knock off one star because the button feels like you could press it all the way into the handle and break it

It is of course a shutter release style button so you get that double click action but again you have to make sure you dont press hard otherwise the button will keep going and it feels cheap

At a fraction of that cost this one works just fine for snapping the shutter when the camera is zoomed and everything needs to remain perfectly steady to get a good picture
