I use it with the a6000 and it always worked
This is why we always use the 2 second shutter function with the remote just to have a quick second to attempt to hide it from view

The signal isn’t very strong and i can’t trigger the camera to fire if the remote isn’t directly pointing at it

This is my second remote works great right out the box got it less than a hour ago and i’ve taken multiple pictures with the remote already contrary to some reviews i found it does work behind the camera as well as in front

Nice little remote but it does work by ir not radio so you have to point towards the front of the camera
