Pros
We like the looking the exterior is in piano-black color and looks stylish. It works great. Very pretty one match our countertops.
Unit has plenty of suction power, very quite compared to our old happy mama pacair. Not top-notch in this price tier, but already good enough for daily use.
Way quieter than the old ikea one, yet quite powerful. It is also quiet comparatively.
The process is pretty straightforward, although it can be a little time consuming. Only down side is finding contractor to install unit in a smaller town.
Ordered this on line at the advise of a friend. It's pricy but it's a very good bang for the buck for me.
Cons
The fan noise is loud even when set at medium level. The air flow speed and the suction force are mediocre at best. I figure a galvanized steel round metal duct pipe would be better, but the installer didn't give me one. That stuff is yucky and roach ... Read More

You have to pay attention to the version originally i wanted to buy an upgraded version that is smarter，but the appearance color and function keys are the same so you should pay attention to 7501 and 7505 they are different i paid attention to it after installing it and i was lazy to change it but the sound in my house is not very loud and my friends house may have installation problems

Templating was a bit of a pain and i think they could come up with a better cabinet cut list

You also need spacers to keep the unit from warping when pulled up if your cabinets have a lip underneath

My one minor disappointment is that i was hoping that the range hood would work like a periscope so i could see what was going on in the potpan from across the kitchen but due to the angles and mounting height it doesn’t really work as one
