I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this little hood
You get good value with this product
Putting the 37mm cap on with the olympus hood mounted is awkward and slow
Lastly it comes with an additional lens cap for the lens hood because the cap that comes with the lens will not fit with the hood
Price
Great item for a very reasonable price
The build is boss and great price
Packaging/appearance
Paint already flaking off edges even before taking it out of the package
Competitiveness
It is easy to install feels solid and accepts a 58mm cap
The hood is a highquality item and should work well with a longer focallength lens
I don’t see any vignette on a 58mm f1
A 58mm cap will fit on the hood but i had to order this as i did not have a spare cover sitting around

I bought this for my 50mm prime lens so as long as their description is good about no vignetting on full frame cameras then my f1 should be good

Looks a bit short just a little under 1 inch so hopefully it works good

The hood is heavy compared to my rubber and plastic hoods for my other lenses

Keep in mind this is a hood meant for 50mm lenses

If you use this hood on a 28mm or wider lens the corners will be cut off

Many new lenses today are sold only with a lens cap or perhaps you found a used bargain with no caps or hoods
