Saw this hood was for a 46mm thread decided to try it
Robust metal hood fits my olympus 17mm m43 perfectly and so much cheaper than those leica type equivalents
Anything smaller than 62mm or a longer hood will cause vignetting
I have it installed over a 46mm bw uv filter

The only problem with the hood is that it is not threaded to accept a lens cap on the front

The solution is a pushon cap on the front edge of the hood

This setup wont be completely dusproof because of the hood vents but it will keep an errant finger off the front lens element or something scratching it in your camera bag
