So if you have your original canon lenses with the caps and want to leave the adapter on because why wouldnt you then you may have to buy an cap for the adapter to protect the optics when storing it

I do believe it makes your images a bit darker but if you’re using a sony mirrorless camera you don’t have to stress too much about shooting with a slightly higher iso as those cameras handle low light extremely well as is
