This does work but unfortunately the ir receiver is not very sensitive and is very directional meaning you must have the unit facing you exactly for the remote to work reliably

My only complaint is minor the input is selected by a single button that cycles through all possible inputs

The screen is tiny so theres no way you can see what is selected without being right next to it
