The fit and finish are excellent, much better than anything i saw in that price range. The swivel is very smooth, and the base is very true. It does the job! This product is a bang for your money!

Built like a battleship, should last a lifetime. Very sturdy and much more tighter assembly than my 30 year old one.
No complaint at all. Having watched some reviews of other sub $500 vices i believe this to be as good of a vice as you can get in the price range. Have only had it a short time but no regrets at this point.
Cons

I needed a vice to hold the top portion of the mushroom of my espresso machine while i attempted to loosen the bottom part

I also thought it would be nice to have a quickrelease vise but eventually decided that a few turns of the vise was not that big of a deal
